PE PET BICO-fibres is made by Polyethylene (PE) in the sheath and Polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) in the core. The use of the polyester polymer in the core provides bulkiness to the nonwoven as PET is very resilient. These properties result in a very cushiony final product. In addition to the very good resiliency, PET has higher melting temperature which allows a broader bonding/working window during the converting of the fibres. 


It is a single fiber made from composite materials of two different physical materials through melt spinning. It has the characteristic of being softer than ordinary polyester.  PE PET bico fiber is used for making sanitary materials such as diapers and sanitary napkins.
